Gordon kills Theo but is revived by Hugo Strange as the century-old vigilante "Azrael", who becomes bent on killing Gordon. Cobblepot then kills Azrael but is arrested and sent to Arkham Asylum where he discovers that Strange is conducting a series of multiple experiments in a facility called Indian Hill, run by the secret organization the Court of Owls.
With the help of technical expert Lucius Fox , Gordon manages to shut down the facility. However, unbeknownst to them, a revived Mooney escapes with a bus of monsters, including a clone of Bruce.
