As Reigns came out, he was attacked from behind by Elias, who was then assisted by Shane in attacking Reigns.
Ziggler, appearing via the wild card rule, later explained that it should have been him who got the opportunity to go to WrestleMania 35 and win the WWE Championship instead of Kingston.
He then said he would defeat Kingston for the title at Super ShowDown, which was made official. Corbin then defeated Braun Strowman, Bobby Lashley, and The Miz in a fatal four-way elimination match to earn the title match.
The two teams faced off on the May 20 episode of Raw , where The Revival were victorious. In the end, Jimmy and Jey performed a "Superkick" on Dawson and Wilder, respectively, followed by a double "Superkick" on Dawson to win the match.
Corbin focused on Rollins' injured ribs for the majority of the match. During the match, Corbin continuously argued with referee John Cone whenever Rollins kicked out of a pin.
The end came when Corbin attempted to use a chair only for Cone to intervene, leading to another argument between Corbin and Cone.
Rollins took advantage of the situation and rolled-up Corbin to retain the title. After the match, Corbin attacked Rollins with the "End of Days".
As Heyman was getting in the ring to hand the contract to the referee, Heyman tripped on the ring rope, which distracted Lesnar. Rollins performed a low blow on Lesnar, attacked him with the steel chair, and performed "The Stomp" on him on top of the briefcase.
Due to Heyman's accident, the contract was never cashed in, thus Lesnar kept the contract. Shane applied a "triangle choke" on Reigns only for Reigns to lift Shane up for a "Powerbomb".
Shane performed a "Spear" on Reigns for a nearfall. In the end, Reigns punched Shane, causing Shane to bump into the referee.
Sullivan dominated most of the match until Lucha House Party ganged up on Sullivan, causing them to be disqualified. After the match, Sullivan ran up the ramp and attacked the trio.
Next, Triple H faced Randy Orton in their first one-on-one match since Triple H applied the "Crossface" on Orton only for Orton to reach the ropes to force the break.
Outside the ring, Triple H dropped Orton on an announce table several times. In the next match, Braun Strowman faced Bobby Lashley. Lashley performed a "Running Powerslam" on Strowman for a nearfall.
Strowman performed a "Running Powerslam" of his own on Lashley for a nearfall. In the end, Strowman performed two "Running Powerslams" on Lashley to win the match.
Kingston performed an "S. S" on Ziggler for a nearfall. In the end, Ziggler performed a "Superkick" on Woods outside the ring and while the referee was distracted, Woods kicked Ziggler which allowed Kingston to perform "Trouble in Paradise" on Ziggler to retain the title.
The penultimate match was the originally scheduled man over the top rope battle royal, but had 51 participants. The main event was the first-time ever match between The Undertaker and Goldberg.
Goldberg started by executing two spears on Undertaker for a nearfall. After this, Undertaker performed his signature sit up. As Undertaker attempted a Chokeslam, Goldberg countered into a leg-lock submission hold, however, Undertaker was able to reach the ropes.
As Goldberg went for a third spear, Undertaker dodged and caused Goldberg to collide with the ring post, busting his head open. This gave Undertaker the advantage and he was able to perform Old-School.
He then executed a Chokeslam and a Tombstone Piledriver for a nearfall. Goldberg countered a big boot and performed another spear.
He then executed a Jackhammer for a nearfall. As Goldberg attempted a Tombstone Piledriver, both men fell — the last of several botches that occurred during the match.
Undertaker then performed a second Chokeslam on Goldberg to win the match. The event received negative reviews by critics, with the main event and its ending being particularly criticized.

Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated described that the event's "entire card was nowhere near the level set at the Money in the Bank pay per view in May", and that WWE's continued partnership with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia "is not a good look.
Jason Powell of Pro Wrestling Dot Net wrote that "the show was uneventful and felt longer than it actually was. Powell remarked that it was "strange" how the Lucha House Party were protected by the disqualification match finish, but were steamrolled by Sullivan after the match.
Powell described Balor-Andrade as "decent and yet unmemorable". Mike Tedesco stated that Super Showdown was "just a show with a bad main event" that featured an "awful" ending.
For the other matches, Tedesco felt the battle royale "absolutely stunk" due to the overcrowded ring; Strowman-Lashley was "nothing special", Rollins-Corbin was "basic", but Balor-Andrade was "awesome".
HHH-Orton was "a little too long", and would have been better if it had "been cut in half". The main event was heavily criticized.
Matt Riddle criticized Goldberg, calling him "the worst wrestler in the business" and "unsafe, dangerous and a liability to everyone else".
Flair said both of them had a bad match due to not being regular wrestlers and Goldberg came out of retirement.
Lars Sullivan and Lucha House Party had a rematch that was a 3-on-1 handicap elimination match that Sullivan won. Ali , who participated in the battle royal, donated the money he gained from Super ShowDown to Charity: Water.

Sky Sports. Pushing it as being on par with a WrestleMania only made it worse. There was some solid story advancement and a true moment of hope, but mostly it delivered questionable booking, forgettable matches and continuation of feuds that needed to end.
The Undertaker closed the show with an end-it-quick chokeslam and the same look of disgust those watching probably had.

Also, a bleeding Goldberg he was slightly cut before the match even started, probably from his pre-match ritual of slamming his head to his locker room door dropped Undertaker awkwardly after barely getting him up for a Jackhammer.
The commentators kept blaming it on the loss of blood. Undertaker should not be wrestling Goldberg in part two. Corbin at one point even just buried his head into the hurt ribs.
What followed was a fun continuation of this Lesnar-Rollins-Paul Heyman story. Heyman tripping and dropping the briefcase on his way into the ring, giving Rollins time to low blow a distracted Lesnar in a WrestleMania callback.
Rollins avoided the cash-in and then returned the beating Lesnar gave him — ending with a stomp on the Money in the Bank briefcase.
Heyman could get a yelling at and WWE sold the injuries to Lesnar, giving him a reason to be potentially off TV for awhile. The place went unglued and he delivered a passionate promo about realizing your dreams.
These are the type of moments and hope WWE can provide and this delivered exactly that. People were crying in the audience. The positives mostly ended there, especially when Triple H vs.
Randy Orton is in consideration for the match of the night. The crowd was looking for a reason to get back into this match, but the slow pace made it tough until the end when they kicked out of finishers and Triple H dropped Orton on the announce table four straight time.
There is a low bar for these type of legends match and this did clear that, but this, like Bautista-Triple H, was far too long. The underdog Lucha House Party decided to have all three of them beat on Sullivan at the same time without a tag to even the odds and the bell rang.
WWE should have let Sullivan overcome it and look like a monster. Woods got payback by kicking Ziggler when his back hit the ropes, leading to Kingston hitting Trouble in Paradise.
He demanded a championship rematch inside a steel cage that he will get at Stomping Ground. This match was misplaced after the slow Triple H-Orton match.
The two did the best they could with the time they were given but it was just another forgettable match on a card full of them. Shane McMahon over Roman Reigns.
Got to give WWE some credit for finding new ways to add heat to McMahon by having Drew McIntyre help him get the victory and then carry him off on his shoulders.
The finish also ignored McMahon saying he was going to submit Reigns and the match was average best with no high-risk moment for McMahon.
The more you watch Andrade, this time san Zelina Vegas because no women performers in Saudi Arabia he just impresses more and more.
Both men really sold the power of the Demon persona with their facials. Not the barnburner we were hoping for, but a good solid match.
